red carpet report: golden globes 2015

awards season is upon us! first up, the golden globes! the red carpet was stunning: from the hair and makeup to the accessories to the gowns, the attendees did not disappoint. it was hard to choose, but here are my early favorites, courtesy of huffington post, vogue & E! Online!

award show style: cma's 2014

you know you are from nashville [area] when your favorite awards show is the CMA awards. its on both my mom and my bucket list to be able to go one year! maybe next year since i won't be in school (hint, hint)?!

anyway, though i love the performances, the hosts (how fab did pregnant carrie look?!) and everything about country music, the outfits are my favorite part. from the red carpet to the stage outfits, the stars of country music never disappoint and the men clean up real nice. so who made my best dressed list? keep reading to find out!

red carpet: emmys 2014

i love award show season for one reason: the red carpet. i care more about the best and worst dressed than the results from the show. the red carpet of last night's emmy awards was no disappointment. orange and coral hues were a trend as well as neutrals that didn't blend in. from shorter hemlines, to peplums and cut-outs, classic silhouettes to modern styles, the red carpet was one for the books. check out my favorite celeb looks below! if only i could have one of each hanging in my closet (and an event to wear them to for that matter)!
