rainy days are for reading

have you looked at the weather forecast for this week? hopefully the old saying "april showers bring may flowers" is true, and after this week, it looks like may will be quite flower-ful. with all this rain coming, all i want to do is curl up on the couch with my kindle and dive into another world. its the perfect escape without leaving the comfort of your dry home! i wanted to share with y'all the past several books i have read (i know, its been a while since i posted a book review)! from beach reads to thrillers to thought provoking novels, i have been turning the pages! these are all great for getting your summer reading list together!

suspense / sleep tight (++) / the girl on the train (++)

chick lit / prada and prejudice (+)  / to all the boys i've loved before (+)

historical fiction / whistling past the graveyard (+) / all the light we cannot see (+++)

i'm starting to get my summer reading list together and it just keeps growing! luckily, i have quite a long plane ride to hawaii in my future so i will be needing some good books to keep me occupied!
